Norbert Flórián, a senior research fellow of our Institute, was selected as one of the winners of Jermy Tibor Award 2022. His research include the faunistic and ecological study of soil-dwelling Collembola, the exploration of soil mesofauna and the development of new detection methods. Through the donation of academician Tibor Jermy and his wife, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) awards the prize every year to young biologists who carry out their research work in the field of theoretical and applied zoology.
