Through the donation of academician Tibor Jermy and his wife, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences awards the prize every year to young biologists who carry out their research work in the field of theoretical and applied zoology.
Our institute was involved in the award ceremony four times: Gábor Szatmári was awarded the Róbert Bárány Prize, while Péter Csathó, Kálmán Rajkai and Tibor Tóth were awarded the title of Research Professor Emeritus.
Based on the decision of the "Complex Agricultural Science" expert body, Imre Cseresnyés, senior research fellow at ATK TAKI, won the support of the "OTKA" Young Researcher Excellence Program with his application entitled "Short-term monitoring of root dielectric response by non-destructive procedure".
Zsófia Adrienn Kovács, research assistant at TAKI, submitted an application led by László Pásztor (TAKI) and Tamás Tóth (Geomega Kft.) within the framework of the Eötvös Loránd University Doctoral School of Environmental Sciences, which received support on the basis of a proposal from the Cooperative Doctoral College.
