Researchers from the Department of Soil Mapping and Environmental Informatics working with a senior scientist from ISRIC – World Soil Information and Wageningen University & Research have studied soil organic carbon (SOC) stock change between 1992 and 2010 at multiple aggregation levels in Hungary. Their results and findings have been published in Geoderma.

Our Institute has joined the International Network of Salt-affected Soils (INSAS) powered by the Global Soil Partnership (GSP).

Staff from the Department of Soil Mapping and Environmental Informatics and the Department of Soil Physics and Water Management have successfully contributed to an international initiative launched by the Global Soil Partnership (GSP) to produce a 1-kilometer resolution world map of salt-affected soils.
