Gábor Szatmári, senior research fellow of our Institute, has won Bolyai János Research Scholarship with his application entitled "Quantification and propagation of spatial uncertainty in complex soil functions using advanced statistical approaches". The scholarship, established by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) in 1996, supports young researchers at an outstandingly important stage of their scientific career, after the PhD degree.
