In recognition of the high quality of its scientific work, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) has awarded the Institute for Soil Sciences the status of MTA Centre of Excellence. The certificates were awarded to the representatives of the research centres on 4 May 2022 at a ceremony held at the Széchenyi Square headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
