For the 26th time, the naturArt – Association of Hungarian Nature Photographers has launched the most prestigious nature photography competition in Hungary and Central Europe, the Lenergy – Nature Photographer of the Year 2018 competition.
In 2018, the most important event of Hungarian nature photography took place with great interest. The award ceremony of the Nature Photographer of the Year competition and the opening of the exhibition of the best photographs were held at the Hungarian Museum of Natural History on 6 November.

This year, Imre Potyó, an employee of our institute, won the highest nature photographer award in Hungary, becoming the Nature Photographer of the Year for the first time.
