Gábor Szatmári, senior research fellow at ATK TAKI, won the 2020 'Szádeczky-Kardoss Elemér Prize'. The prize is given by a seven-member board of trustees composed of academics from the Department of Earth Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The prize is primarily in recognition of scientific works already published and not older than five years for academics and researchers under the age of 40 in the field of earth sciences.
