Losses in agricultural nitrogen use take various forms in different parts of the ecosystem. The enrichment of different forms of nitrogen threatens the achievement of climate protection, water protection and air purity protection objectives. For this reason, the study of the entire nitrogen cycle is increasingly prioritised and the goal is to achieve better nitrogen efficiency.
